Microblading

microblade

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create fuller brows. Instead of a tattoo machine, we use a little handheld tool to manually draw hair strokes and apply pigment to the client's eyebrows. We will discuss the best brow shapes for their face and choose a colour base on the natural hair colour and skin undertone. The process can take up to two hours. Clients are encouraged to schedule a follow-up appointment four to six weeks later to check if they need minor tweaks. Results can last from six months to one year, depending on your skin type, skin products, and lifestyle. Like other tattoos, sunscreens extend longevity and prevent fading under the sunlight.

The client must stop using any Retin-A or retinol products for a week before the appointment and 30 days after, as those ingredients can cause pigments to fade prematurely. You will not wet your brows or use makeup up to two weeks after your treatment. Once the skin is healed, it's okay to return to regular skin and makeup routine.
